(1) Chairman’s Report:
Meeting opened by Chairman with a recap of the current issues, some of which are dealt with as agenda items.
(2) Apologies:

(3) Police Report:
Non received. ASB (anti-social behaviour) issues noted on Abergele road opposite Beach road. Members have noted a regular occurrence of E-scooters being ridden up and down Abergele road without lights and at speed. Police are aware and residents are asked to report all sightings to the police on 101 or online.
(4) Treasurer’s Report:

(5) Peulwys Fields:
CCBC has yet to announce a publication date for the plans and public consultation. We are advised that it is likely to be before Christmas. Once again, the committee reiterates to all residents not to object or comment before the details of the plan are published. It is likely that any comments and objections received before publication will not count. Please hold ‘fire’ until the details are known.
(6) Plas Gwilym Quarry:
Still awaiting Environmental & Highways assessments. Nothing further known.

(8) Christmas Fair:
To be held at St John & St Catherine’s church 29th November between 1000 and 1500hrs. 8 stall holders have booked, Santa will attend and there will be a raffle and tombola.
(9) Remembrance Day:
Arrangements are in hand for the annual Remembrance Day service at the church and the War memorial. A speaker will be loaned from Tape, and the road closure for the event is booked. Hedge is trimmed and the area has been cleaned. Trudy Marden volunteered to lay a wreath on behalf of the Residents Association.
(10) Any other Business:
(a) Blue Boxes:
Blue Box refuse uncollected last week due to staffing issues at CCBC.
(b) Bryn Rhodyn:
Dog walking application at Bryn Rodyn farm has yet to go to planning.
(c) Parking and Road Safety:
The road junctions between Beach Road, Min y don Avenue and Cliff gardens have seen a recent minor accident. Since parking charges have been introduced on the promenade, there has been a significant increase in cars being parked on, or close to the junctions. It is felt that Double yellow lines at the junctions would increase public and road safety.
(d) Land for Sale Coed Coch Road:
A question was asked regarding land for sale adjacent to Coed Coch road. This land is for sale by private treaty, a planning permission application failed some years ago.
(e) Penmaenhead:
There has been some vandalism at Penmaen head quarry. The old explosives store has been repainted as a result. This land is in the hands of the Traffic Agency.
(f) Missing Road Signs:
One at the Rotary way junction for Porth Eirias and the other at the junction of Abergele Road/ Bodelwyddan avenue for the Bowling club. Both signs have been previously reported as missing Cllr Gail Jones will chase the matter.
