(1) Chairman’s Report:
The Chair opened the meeting. Those present signed the attendance sheet. The report and record of the last meeting was agreed. Thanks to the Methodist Church booking secretary who allowed us to use the main church for the September meeting were noted.
(2) Apologies:
Richard & Carol Poynton, Brian Cossey, Cllr Neil Coverley, Cllr Jason Higgins, Cllr Sandra and Gwynfor.
(3) Police Report:
No formal report available, however we discussed the ongoing ASB issues which continue to blight parts of the village. Flats opposite Jackie’s on Abergele road, Wynn gardens, issues regarding residents of the Lyndale and Marine hotel as well as drinking in the grounds of St John’s church.The committee requests that any anti-social behaviour is reported to the police in order to monitor the situation.
(4) Treasurer’s Report:
Bank balance £1275.50, Events £496.35.
Monty’s bench £595.00 paid to men’s shed CB to make the bench.
Portable loos for summer picnic £240.00 paid.
OCRA funds £185.15
(5) Peulwys Fields:
Approximately 250 residents attended the last meeting in September. The date of the formal consultation is expected in November with publication of plans prior to this.
The committee thanks James Harland of CCBC who attended the meeting in September.
Once a date has been set for the consultation, an open meeting of this committee will be set.
Time and date of the consultation is to be confirmed. The committee recommends that residents do not object to the council until after the consultation.
