Lianne reported that there had been no response from the local schools re Poster Competition and she would now approach schools out of the area.
Dog fouling at play area, Gwynant. Coed Coch Road area fouling and cigarette ends. Residents had received notices. Fouling Heenan Road residents asked to supply information. Signs posted near Plas Gwilym. There had been no prosecutions, but the cameras had been useful in obtaining information re drug dealing. Glan-y-Don suggested for a Litter Pick.

(7) Minutes of 12th December 2018 Meeting
(a) Promenade/Pier
BBC Wales had featured Cheryl highlighting the need to attend to stage 3 of promenade reinforcement. After our approach to David Jones MP, he had written letters to each of the 4 agencies with responsibility for coastal transport connections, including the Assembly, conveying our concerns in the event of extreme storm conditions. A reply is awaited. They are now put on notice in the event of a catastrophe.
(b) B.I.D.
Christmas Fair went very well in spite of weather. Stall holders look forward to next year’s between 7-8th December 2019. Some 3,000 are estimated to have attended. Next meeting 7.00pm., Monday 14th January 2019 at Marine Hotel. Please make an effort to attend the debrief and forward planning for next year. Kai and his team are to be congratulated.

Brian, a member of the existing Memorial Committee is to meet with the Town Clerk shortly to discuss its future maintenance and care and the use of the funds mentioned at (4) above. Brian will report back to Association.

Some not functioning. Each are numbered and these should be reported to Council for attention.
(c) Graffiti Artist, Queens Road Underpass
Cheryl seeks our endorsement for a professional graffiti artist to paint the underpass near Queens Road. All agreed it to be a good idea. It is intended to involve local youngsters which should give them a sense of ownership and pride. Other similar areas had benefitted from such schemes.
